Grant Hutchings, MPT

Grant is a Registered Physiotherapist specializing in orthopaedics. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria, completed his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta, and did his Chan Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (CGIMS) training at the University of British Columbia.

He is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) and is also certified in Functional Dry Needling (FDN2). His other post-graduate trainings have focused on manual therapy, chronic pain assessment, inflammatory and osteoarthritis management, headache assessment and treatment, functional movement assessments, therapeutic exercise and the treatment of whiplash-associated disorder.

Grant tailors his approach to each individual and treatments typically include a combination of education, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise. Gua sha, cupping or tape may also be included in your visit and Grant regularly communicates and collaborates with other clinicians, often with different specialties, to ensure patients are receiving optimal holistic care.

He has been fortunate to work with World and Olympic Champion athletes, varsity athletes, yoga teachers, and combat sport athletes; however, the majority of his time is spent serving everyday people for minor aches and pains to severe-life threatening injuries.

Grant is passionate about physiotherapy and is dedicated to helping people move and feel better. When not at work, he loves searching out adventure with his wife and children and their dog Fritter.
